Acceptable Use Policy

Prohibited content and conduct

You may not use the Service to create, upload, list, distribute or promote anything that:

• is illegal, or promotes, instructs or facilitates illegal activity;
• infringes or misappropriates anyone’s copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy, publicity or other rights, including art, code or characters taken from another mod, game or creator without permission;
• is sexual content involving minors, or otherwise sexualises, endangers or exploits a child;
• harasses, threatens, defames, doxxes or promotes violence against a person or a group, or promotes hatred on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or any similar characteristic;
• contains malware, or is designed to damage, disable, spy on or gain unauthorised access to anyone’s computer, game, account, server or data;
• is designed to disrupt, cheat in or grief other people’s games or servers without their consent (a mod for your own single-player world is yours to make as you like);
• impersonates a person, a studio, a mod team or ModGod, or misrepresents who made a mod;
• misrepresents what a mod does, or hides what it does from the people who install it;
• is spam, or exists mainly to promote something unrelated to the mod; or
• violates the Terms of Service or any other ModGod policy.

Protecting the Service

You may not:

• access the Service by any automated means other than the interfaces we provide, or scrape, crawl or bulk-download it;
• create accounts by automated means, or hold more than one account without our agreement;
• work around, probe or defeat any limit, rate limit, credit accounting, invite gate or security measure of the Service, or use it in a way that imposes an unreasonable load on it;
• try to obtain, extract or reverse engineer our build packs, prompts, playbooks or models, or use the Service or its output to build or train a competing product;
• resell, rent, share or sublicense access to the Service or to credits;
• submit descriptions or images intended to make the AI models behave outside the Service’s purpose, or to make them produce content this policy prohibits;
• test the security of the Service without our written permission; or
• interfere with anyone else’s use of the Service.

Games, mod loaders and other people’s terms

The mods you build run inside games and mod loaders made by other people, each with its own terms and mod policies. You are responsible for complying with them: for example, many games prohibit selling mods, distributing their assets or using mods on servers that forbid them. Building a mod with ModGod grants you no rights in any game or its assets, and you may not use the Service to violate the terms of a game, a mod loader or a marketplace.

Reporting a problem

If you find a listed mod or a username that breaks this policy, email founder@modgod.tech with a link to it and a description of the problem. Copyright complaints follow the Copyright Policy. We read every report; we do not promise to reply to each one, but we act on the ones that are well founded.

Enforcement

Breaking this policy is a breach of the Terms of Service. Depending on how serious it is, we may remove or unlist content, refuse a build, reverse credits, limit or suspend your account, close it (with unspent credits forfeited, as the Terms say), reclaim a username, and report illegal conduct to the authorities. We decide what breaks this policy in our reasonable judgement; where we can, we will tell you what was removed and why, and you may reply to founder@modgod.tech if you believe we got it wrong.
